ILA, in its quality as the reference institution in Luxembourg, has created a certification scheme for directors having followed and successfully completed the “Training Program for Directors”. Upon completion of the program, directors are awarded as a “ILA Certified Director” (Certificat d’Administrateur de Sociétés). Members having obtained the Certificate are entitled to be registered on the Certified Directors
which is updated regularly.
The program includes 2 mandatory modules that should be achieved over a maximum period of 2 years:
In order to maintain the certified level, ILA will ask its certified directors to engage in a minimum of hours of training a year by participating in adequate programs to maintain their professional skills at the highest level.
In this context, the Module “Europe”
is compulsory and should be attended in the 3 first years following the obtaining of the certification.
The candidates wishing to obtain the Certificate delivered by ILA must comply with the eligibility criteria defined in the ILA Certification Policy
, and must submit an application file
to the Certification Advisory Committee of ILA. This one expresses an opinion to the Management Committee which decides on the issue of the certificate. The certification will be annually renewed by the Management Committee based on the commitment of Continuous Professional Development
duly completed by the certified member.
