Job offer : Membership & Certification Coordinator

We are looking for a Membership & Certification Coordinator to be the point of contact for members’ queries, follow-up on the admission process for new members, as well as coordinate the certification programs for Directors and Company Secretaries.

The organisation

ILA (Institut Luxembourgeois des Administrateurs) is a non-profit organization founded in 2005.

The mission of ILA is to promote the profession of Directors by developing its members into highly qualified, effective and respected Directors.

In parallel, it will promote best practices in Luxembourg in the field of Corporate Governance of companies and institutions by actively engaging with those institutions charged with the introduction, application and oversight of those Corporate Governance rules and practices. It will achieve this through high quality training, forum discussions, research, publications and conferences.

ILA aims to be the premier interlocutor in Luxembourg on issues affecting Directors.

The role  

  • Be the contact person for the admission process “Become a member” and follow-up on queries and developments

  • Update and maintain our membership database

  • To be the point of contact for members and replying to their administrative queries

  • Implement and manage new services for our members

  • Promote/develop the ILA membership by proactively proposing the membership to our contacts

  • Support the work of the Certification Committee and prepare the certification files for admission

  • Be the point of contact for Certification queries 

  • Fully manage the Continuing Professional Development process for both Certification programs (Directors and Company Secretaries)

  • Propose and coordinate all initiatives for Certified Directors & Company Secretaries


Qualifications

  • Outstanding relationship and communication skills

  • At least 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in a similar environment

  • Proficient knowledge of English and French are required; knowledge of other languages, particularly German, would be a distinct advantage

  • Strong organization skills

  • Good understanding of ILA’s mission and its activities; interest in Governance issues and ability to learn proactively and autonomously are also needed
