The Power and Leverage of Network
by José Luis Alvarez
Senior Affiliate Professor of Leadership and Organisational Behaviour Academic Director
INSEAD Corporate Governance Centre
ILA in cooperation with Equilibre and LILLA will be delighted to welcome Mr. José Luiz Alvarez to talk about “The Power and Leverage of Network”.
Research shows that in this world of unprecedented speed of change, it is becoming more and more difficult to develop and maintain a strong and powerful professional network, without having a significant amount of social capital, regardless of how much intellectual capital (knowledge, experience, etc.) a candidate may possess. The goal of this session is to share action tools for the management of your professional network. We will discuss first why you are not as good a networker as you should. Second, how to analyse the quality of your network. Third, how to improve it.
The presentation will be followed by a networking cocktail which will provide you with the opportunity to test some of the tools acquired.
